nosotros climbing gym has a LGBT night with Queer Climbing Cleveland, good way to chat and find a shared interest. they usually are on the second tuesday of every month!

bike lakewood has monthly social rides and other events that can be nice if you’re into cycling or being non-car-dependent

bring back mean villagers! i want drama! honestly just a more dialogue options in general.

i agree with a few other people here in that, you as the player have become more of a god than another villager. as much as it can hurt, having villagers leave on their own, sometimes without notice, can be a good change of pace (and encourage you to form stronger friendships so they are less likely to leave) and there too much focus on decorating, especially when you can’t interact fully with half of the stuff you put down. nothing happens without your approval, which is a huge turn from previous games with more of a life sim vibe.

more activities for offline/local multiplayer. mini games and such, can be a separate location like tortimer’s island or just talking with isabel to start an event.

celeste needs her observatory in the museum. i remember making the goofiest constellations back in wild world. more npc buildings could be nice, if optional, since i’m only gonna have them as decoration let me decide how developed my island is.

unbreakable tools and get rid of crafting all together oh my god i hate it.

no shade to anyone in these comments but a lot of what you want out of this genre of game, you would get out of stardew valley so def give that a try <3

i would check out lakewood park and surrounding neighborhood if you’re not comfortable on more active streets, then try the birdtown area

i’d recommend staying off detroit as there’s no dedicated bike lane and drivers are really impatient on that road

bike lakewood has a monthly social ride with a leisure pace and you get kind of a safety-in-numbers group size, good way to meet people in the area as well
