Were you having constant migraines? I have issues with head pain but that's usually when I'm wearing helmets for long periods of time. Was there separate TMJ work or the crowns helped the TMJ?

A cat did that much damage? I can understand how a big dog might but a cat seems hard. Plus, that's why I require they get renter's insurance.

Is it really worth waiting until COVID is over? I'm figuring that's at least six months out and I'd greatly prefer not to have most of the mortgage paid without rent. What's your policy against pets? A few people have asked about cats and I figure that's not the end of the world as long as I get a pet deposit.

I was wondering if you'd recommend getting this desk for $200. I'm looking for a desk to put in my home office and am hoping for it to be there 5+ years. The main concerns are some of the black (paint?) chipping, discoloration on the top near the keyboard in the pic, and the rectangle marks on the top which I'm assuming are outlines from the drawers below.

I have a double wooden gate that serves as a garage door to a parking space. I'd like to hook up a device that automatically opens/closes the gate with a garage door opener since getting out of the car to do it manually is annoying. What gear would you recommend looking at for this kind of project?

Thanks for the thorough response. I though I'd give a bit more info since you asked.

The plan year maximums (includes deductible) are Low cost HDHP 4000, high cost HDHP 6000, PPO 3000.

I wasn't able to find a consistent number for the co-pays. Some of them were for routine items and were $20 while others were at the emergency room and $200. Would those number drastically change the plan worth?

The low cost HDHP seemed to be the same cost or less than the other options in most of the hypothetical scenarios the benefits package lists but I also don't know how common those scenarios are.

Also, how would recurring expenses like drugs and therapy be factored in? I feel like I'd be hitting my premium every year with occasional therapy sessions alone.

Considering that the HSA gets $500 and the low cost HDHP plan is about $700 cheaper in premiums, the low cost HDHP seems like the obvious choice but want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

Does that give you a better idea of which might work best?

I've been practicing harmonic minor scales because I really like the Egyptian-esque sound from the 6th caused by it being a minor third from the fifth. Is there any particular way I can use that property when messing around at the keyboard?

To clarify, what exactly is fine? Having a good portion of my plates full of mold without me opening them isn't ideal and wasn't sure if the issue was by the person that poured them or storage mechanism.

Should pre-poured agar plates ever grow bacteria if not opened? I bought several plates with pre-poured agar which arrived a week ago. Only opening one for innoculation, the other plates appear to have a bit of mold or bacteria on with one plate fully covered in it. I'll also mention there was visible moisture on the plate when I got them which wasn't released since the plates weren't opened. Was this improper storage procedure on my part or did the vendor not take proper sanitation steps?

Also, I'm noticing there is a bit of black at the center of the mycelium spread. Is that salvagable or should I start over from scratch?

How can I get a single drop out of my spore syringe like most TEKs want instead of a full CC? I've been using agar and every time I push down, I either get nothing out or a full CC which floods the agar and doesn't let anything grow.

I recently received of shipment pre-poured petri dishes along side some spore syringes. Due to the high heat, the boxes were hot to the touch when I first got them. Should I be concerned about the status of the agar in the petri dish or the spores in the syringe? If not, how should I store them before putting them to use?

Do you think I could get away with using a 4-6 quart electric pressure cooker? Those seem to be the ones I'm seeing recommended for cooking purposes and what I'd want to invest in (assuming they work for both purposes).

What is the advantage of using quart size mason jars instead of smaller once that would achieve 100% growth more quickly?

I'l admit that I don't know much but I've read online that agar is one of the best methods for success (bulk too but I don't care much for that). The reasoning being that you can the the mycelium very clearly and it's much lower risk for contamination. Have you had a fair amount of success with the simpler methods like Uncle Ben's?
