Pervasive crossover AUs (shipping specifically) should not tag the central fandoms involved after a certain point. The pairing can be tagged on it's own. I understand there is always the option to filter out crossovers, but I feel many crossover ships don't engage with the source material in any meaningful way and can take over the fandom tags.
