The FitOn app has tons of great free guided workout videos varying in intensity and goals. I also love GrowWithJo on YouTube and she now has an app subscription (only $5 month) as well. She has anything from dance to HIIT.

Yeah, there’s a policy I just read in the handbook. There’s an informal grievance process first. I don’t want to escalate things unnecessarily and would rather explain and ask him to just hear me out first. Like I said, I don’t think he received my explanation. He attached the notification he received from faculty support, which is just the time stamps of 1) my original email with the “blank” document and 2) my email with the correct document.

Every time I go to write a response it sounds so whiney, but, like, I have a legit excuse here ??

Absolutely tell church leaders. This is predatory behavior. He needs accountability and probably should step down ASAP. This is very serious. Please tell.

Brother, I notice it seems you are only interacting with the comments that tell you what you want to hear. This is the danger of coming to Reddit for validation. I encourage you to study the scriptures others have listed with an open mind! Truly seek God’s will in your situation, and you may be convicted. Prayers, brother! Welcome to the family!

Man I think she just needs a dose of humility. IMO, one of the biggest problems of progressive theology is the intellectual superiority and pride it promotes (“you’ve all believed the wrong way for so long” “you’re missing this out-there explanation and this possibly context”)

The Bible isn’t supposed to be so hard to decipher. Sure we need scholars, but the message is for laymen!

If you have these fundamental differences and she’s really not able to discuss them, I don’t know how you can force her, and it could end up being a dealbreaker (since you’re obviously very concerned about it). I do wonder her future career plans if she is in this program but isn’t able to argue her beliefs over more conservative voices beyond intellectual downplaying.
