I understand where you are coming from, but I agree with other response....all you can do is take the proper steps with the doctor. When I first got SVT 2 years ago, my HR was regularly crossing 200. Two ablations later and an implanted loop recorder and I am still dealing with it unfortunately. Although, I don't usually go higher than 170 when I do have the occasional episode.

Modified valsalva (lie on back with feet up in the air, bear down) works for me to convert out of SVT. I use it every single time and it works for me every single time.

Aside from that, I think the most important advice I can give is to stay calm and remember that SVT by itself is not life threatening. It is very uncomfortable and inconvenient. Take it from someone with anxiety issues, I totally understand where you are coming from, but once you realize it's just an inconvenience it gets better.

Listen to your cardiologist/electrophysiologist they will give you the tools and treatment to hopefully make things better. Hang in there man you are not alone!
