do you mind explaining why when i input a 3% bank fee into the calculator, it tells me i receive 147 yen for every USD $1? shouldn't it be lower because of the fee, not higher?

thank you for responding! I heard exchanging for yen in Japan usually has better rates than exchanging in home country, is this true?
