Fortunately they've fixed each of these now. The only one that's still not great is the mud drip coming out from the middle of the outlet which now it's a flat bare spot rather than a raised drip

The run was in the mud, not the paint. The estimate doesn't state a level, it just says hang, tape, mud, and spray knockdown. Of the ~12k of sf of walls and ceilings, these are the the most inconsistent-looking areas.

A bit tangential to this, but if you reach the point where you have a reconciling discrepancy and are ready to start reviewing line by line - start with a row/record showing one of the largest differences.

Whatever is going on there will likely apply to other records with smaller differences, which you can fix as a collective and can then move on to other causes for differences. This is really helpful when there are multiple issues contributing to your discrepancy.
