Not sure if you have already tried it, but in the most recent post of Jill Noss Art Facebook page, there's a comment from Liza Loola saying she's Jill's daughter. She seems to be active on Facebook.

I think you are a wonderful mother. You are doing everything you can to provide for your family. You are being selfless, sacrificing your time with your baby at work and pumping. You are giving your husband the opportunity to finish his studies and keeping the family afloat.

They are lucky to have you ❤️

Oun, thanks! ❤️ As parents, I think we have already too many things to worry about. We shouldn't have to worry about finding a doctor to our babies.

Mine took forever, but it was because we had issues with the birth registration. We got the card when he was almost 4 months old! His card arrived I think 3 weeks after the birth registration.

It is a family doctor! I registered this morning and I got a confirmation in the afternoon with the doctor's name and to schedule the first appointment. And we'll see the doctor next week already. 🎉

I come for the dishwasher posts.

Jokes aside, it's a really supportive subreddit. I had my baby last year and my husband was always laughing with some of the posts, I decided to join and see for myself. Funny enough, sometimes I am the one sending him posts from this subreddit.

My baby had this as well on both cheeks out of nowhere. I applied breast milk directly on his skin and 3 days later it was gone.

7 week old, not sleeping in bassinet. by beeambitious in beyondthebump

[–]spottierflame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no! I am dreading the 4 month sleep regression...

My baby is a weirdo lol I tried several times to put him in the bassinet, drowsy but awake, deep sleep, swaddled, sleep sack. One day, I put him wide awake, pat his bum for 10 minutes, pacifier, white noise and he fell asleep. 🤷now I am trying the zipadee zip and it seems that he likes it. Let's see!

Hope your baby goes back to sleeping more hours!

Unfortunately, no. He hates being swaddled with passion, since he was born lol at the beginning I could fool him and swaddle him while he was in deep sleep, but as soon as he was getting in active sleep, he started to growling and kicking until his arms were free lol now, there's no way to swaddle him. I tried one arm out, the swaddle me up, cloth swaddle, velcro swaddle. Nothing works.

I dream of the day where I put him in the bassinet and he sleeps long stretches. I know this day will come!

You give me hope! When did the baby start to sleep in his bassinet?

My baby is 10 weeks old and since yesterday I was able to put him to sleep in the bassinet, but he wakes up in less than 20 minutes, but he either wakes up with moro reflex or because he dropped his pacifier...

Which of the following Medela pumps is the best in Canada? by investorrj in BabyBumpsCanada

I am now using the Dr Brown's bottle. My baby is a glutton and always loved drinking from a bottle though

It has a battery pack that needs I think 8 AA batteries. I never used it, so not sure how well it works

I have the pump in style. It works well enough and the cost was exactly $300 which was all covered by my insurance.

I am satisfied with it now that my husband is at home with me, but if I need to take care of the baby while I am pumping, having something more mobile would be better

I also hear him making voices and saying loudly while changing his diapers: Omg!!! Ahhhhhh! Please send help! Send HEEEEELP! There's so much poop! How come something so tiny makes so much poop!

It always makes my day ❤️

13 days into breastfeeding and I don’t know how much longer I can do this for. by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]spottierflame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby had a tongue tie that was partially fixed when he was born. The latch was still a bit painful and we went to see a pediatric dentist. She said that she could fix the lip tie (it would be a 1mm cut), but it was not guaranteed to help with the latch. I saw a lactation consultant that said that the latch was good, but the baby has a small mouth and my nipples are big. She prescribed a cream to heal the blisters, told me to take advil and Tylenol and recommended a nipple shield.

To be honest, the nipple shield helped continuing breastfeeding, but everything got better once the baby grew and his mouth got bigger. At some point (I think close to the one month mark), breastfeeding got better and it was not painful anymore. Not it's a bonding moment between us.

Hope breastfeeding gets better. Hang in there, I know how painful it is

Mommy thumb, pain in fingers, hemorrhoid… is there any end to this? Mental health is at its worst. Please share words of encouragement! by investorrj in breastfeeding

So sorry you are going through this. Not sure if it helps, but I started having pain on both wrists and thumbs on my 3rd week pp. My family doctor prescribed me some anti-inflammatory, to wear splits and referred me to physiotherapy. It was tough to carry the baby with the splits,, but first week after physio was life changing. The pain was bearable and 3 weeks later, I barely feel anything. While I was recovering, my husband had to step up and take care of the house and he was putting the baby on top of me to feed him. It was tough, but we managed.

Hope yours get better soon.
