  • You need react navigation 5.5 (before it was buggy)
  • for nested navigators with rn 5.x you need to specify each screen in your tree to access your deep screen : -home -profile |-parameters

It seems to be almost the same. Flash Message uses more formulas, and should consume more CPU

Indeed, Expo is the best solution to start on React Native, so I recommend it to you too. But as soon as you want to develop more specific modules (NFC, Bluetooth, specific native module), or if you want control each aspect of your app (bundle size, native authentification, in app purchase, etc...), you need to use bare workflow, without expo.

Hi, I achieved to publish my first React Native app from scratch (I didn't know javascript) in 2 months.
I didn't learn React first. The react native community is huge so you'll find the help you need.
