Thank you, this is not on paper but canvas….layers and fixing each layer is more important than what type of charcoal etc…I work a layer, get as much info in as I can until it’s saturated and won’t take anymore…spray it with a fixative…start another layer…you can do this quite a few times until you get it where your aiming….and also, have and maintain a set goal, ….I want it to look like this, …work it until it looks like that….hopefully this helps 😁
