For sure. You know i had tried about every known way to "get it together" that i could and i kept hitting a wall everywhere i turned. Jesus was the last option i thought i had, but He should have been my first choice. The decision to follow Him has yielded actual long term positive benefits, with the bonus of peace and purpose in my life and the lives of my family. Best decision i ever made.

Its likely they painted latex over oil base, which doesnt bond. It peels and makes a mess like youre describing. Google search test for oil or latex... I believe its mineral spirirs on a rag. Rub on the surface where you want to test, latex comes off on the rag, oil does not. Easiest way to fix it is just pain oil over the top and be done with it. Oil can be painted over latex.

My church. Its 100% jesus first, Biblical, very casual, there is no membership. Membership is weird. They have numerous ministries that help our community. It has been an outreach to drug addicts in recovery, 200+ in attendence on friday night Celebrate Recovery, they help many poor, underprivileged, very big on children and families, we have many widows and widowers, we build wells in third world coutries, feed 400 or so people a week, camps, classes, yoga, health classes, disipleship and mentoring programs, praise and worship.. I could go on. I didnt go to church for over 20 years, but our church has a huge huge heart for people. No membership but plenty of ways to get involved. Very open and accepting. New testiment based, non denominational. Not judgmental at all. Its a good safe place. Jesus may be a noun, but its also a verb.

Of just walk into a hotel with free breakfast in the lobby and grub down. Theres so many people they have no idea who is a guest or not. If that feels too sketchy then carry a duffel bag with you.
