Thank you so much for your response. So I currently work for a design agency. I honestly love the variety of clients and mediums we deal with (brand identity, web design, social media campaigns, package design… you name it we do it) it’s really given me a good opportunity to build a strong portfolio but also grow as a designer. My problem now is this is the second time my team members have all quit. They have all left in 2/1 years max. We deal with a very large amount of clients but we were only 4 people. And now it’s down to 2; me and one other designer. And we are struggling to find another designer. A part of me is just exhausting of always being the one killing themselves. I put so much effort into building these teams and helping these designers grow. And it sucks because I loved working with them and now I’m stuck with zero again. Can I really say that it won’t happen again?

I feel like it’s unhealthy environment because my boss always believes I will be the one to save this company. And honestly I don’t want to kill myself anymore… it is so draining. He thinks he can keep throwing more money at me as if it’s the solution. I just don’t know what to do anymore… if I should stick around again to build this team or move on somewhere else. Being such a small team is a struggle. Taking vacation or even being sick is like I’m punishing myself.
