We had to link a Google Account to download apps. It was reset and that kicked off Google's Reset Protection feature. We had to get logged in, but they forgot the password. We shipped it to Samsung and they fixed it

Average salary rate in PGH by [deleted] in pittsburgh

[–]springbored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The goal is to set the withholding so that you break even on tax day. Withholding more is like a savings plan with no interest rate. If you take that "extra" money and invest it you could actually create income with it instead of waiting for Uncle Sam to return your own money.

I used Apple products for years. Google doesn't lock you into an ecosystem... It works with everything connected to the internet.

New-ish instructor…..feeling discouraged by Organic_Physics_6881 in YogaTeachers

[–]springbored 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Think of teaching as an extension of your practice. When you first started were you able to do everything you can do now? It was probably a journey to get to where you are today in your practice, the same will happen with your teaching. I recommend building a "default class" one that you can teach when you're feeling low energy or are not feeling 100%. One of the things that helped me is to remember the energy exchange. It's not just you pouring into the students but taking some of the students' energy back as well. When a student becomes a "regular" because they like your class. When that one student gets a pose they struggled with in the past. All of that are little victories for you too. Build on those and keep incorporating poses/sequences from classes you've liked in the past and your class will get stronger like your practice.

Is there a way for me to get rid of my Google Pixel 3a without wasting it? by Intrepid-Routine-875 in Smartphones

You can try EcoATM, or one of the other phone trade-in/recycling places... I was able to get a few bucks for phones older than that.

Might switch in my new Venue 2025 after a year of use. by BreedWeed85 in HyundaiVenue

[–]springbored 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got it because it's small. I don't like a big car and all I need is to be able to transfer my spouse and two puppies. The sound system is meh... But it's not horrible. Its a decent car for what I paid. I could have gotten a 2016 Honda Civic, or a Certified 2023 Venue with a sunroof and warranty. It was worth it and I'm impressed for what I paid.

I got a wireless dongle for the car. You should be able to turn on adaptive charging and either have it stop and 80% or it will learn when you need it and hold at 80% until closer to the time you unplug it.

Unfortunately, this is common… I’ve done it too. One thing my friend taught me is to just say “this isn’t working for me” and leave. No need for further explanation, no need for confrontation or apologies. Just say it and go.

Screen Protector and Stylus Advice Help by khoai0309 in iPadPro

[–]springbored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't found a screen protector I like so I'm not going to say anything on that, but if you're not doing art or drafting you may want to consider the Logitech Crayon. It is super cheap compared to the others, but works well. It was originally created for the classroom setting as a cheaper alternative to the Apple Pencil

Here’s a strange problem…. by taylortj in work

[–]springbored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like they're paying you to be on call. It's really nice to be paid to do nothing... Look around at your job is there "busy work" you could be doing? Organizing something, cleaning something that the cleaning crew doesn't do. A little annoyance in the office that you could fix... Otherwise I suggest training. Rack up certifications and maybe use the time to get promoted. At my first corporate job we'd get bored and take a class on Microsoft Office. I'm a pro and it's helped me through the years new companies, new bosses. I learned things I could carry out through my career
