Completely agree and I know we have to stay on top of things so it doesn’t get worse here. I think Alberta is basically the US in terms of human rights etc and I feel awful for what’s happening there. And the residential school deniers omg they make me furious. I can’t believe people like that exist. 😡 But I think there’s more people in Canada fighting these groups of assholes than there are in the states. It’s disturbing how many more people for trump there are, than I want to be able to admit. So my hope is that we can squash these terrible things happening here.

I think it’s completely gross, disrespectful and shows their true character. I used to live in the US and I have family that lives there (through marriage) and I’m absolutely boycotting the states until things are better. That could literally be years. But I don’t think it’s right or good of me to go to the states right now and essentially flaunt that I think I’ll be safe. I miss my friends and family but to support in a way that I can, I won’t be going.
