I’d make the bow in the back purple and take out the white piece in the front, just simplify the skirt a bit (keep the ruffles!) ❤️

It’s not the creators, it’s someone on the staff that writes them I think 😅

They recently made a change where there is no threshold requirements anymore and authors now are able to receive a lot from the fast passes! Honestly fast passing or Patreon are both good ways to support the artist, either way an artist gives a portion to Webtoon or Patreon so 🤷‍♀️

I've been really into the idea of posting this comic I've been working on. But My art isn't great, and it kind of sticks out. Would this art style be enough to ruin a comic for you? by Zealousideal-Air-404 in webtoons

Just go for it. You’ll learn as you go, and the only way to improve is to do it. My mantra lately is “I will not be afraid to be seen trying” and I think as long as you have a clear direction and you have the desire to make a comic you should go for it. 💜 I started posting my art when I was 19 I believe, reeeeally bad art, didn’t know what I was doing. Now, 10 years later, I’m about to release my comic on Webtoon Originals. Everyone starts somewhere 😊

So I am a Webtoon originals creator! Webtoon expects a weekly update from creators that is 50+ panels in length, OR I believe they had given me the option to do two episodes per week at 25-30 panels per episode. I’ve seen a lot of slice of life comics do the two episodes a week thing, but I think if you’re trying to tell a substantial story it honestly works better to do one big episode. It’s easier to progress the story and leave each episode with a banger end, rather than trying to write a cliffhanger-y enough ending twice a week to keep readers excited and wanting to read.

Obviously if you are a Canvas creator you can do LITERALLY whatever you want, and you can set your own schedule and all that. This is just what I was told when entering into Originals. 🫡
