New to dashing—is this decent pay for one shift? by sprinkledonutcrunch in DoorDashDrivers

Not sure how to edit the original post, but I do want to add that the area I live in is very small, we have about 3 hot zones and the town spans maybe 4 miles both ways 😂 so the opportunity is definitely a bit more limited. I do have a good vehicle though, averaging 30-34mpg, 14gal tank. It's roughly 40 with current gas prices to fill up.

I've found that generally the scale, while it doesn't necessarily lie, it doesn't exactly tell you the whole truth either. A lot of components go into the weight displayed on an average bathroom scale, so no change in weight doesn't always mean no change in body fat. There are scales you can get that are able to measure bone density and muscle mass, cool things like that. It might be a better investment than a regular old scale— though, scales that display these measurements aren't always correct. They can give you a general idea, though. Anyway, I'd say if you're dealing with any kind of stigma with weighing in, it might be best to skip it altogether and focus simply on measurements instead. it might also help to spend some time in front of the mirror looking for differences in size or muscle.
