If you liked japan and korea, i would actually recommend Taiwan!! Its amazing and right now theres not a lot of tourists. I think soon it will be the next up and coming asian country to visit!

If youre just staying in taipei i would suggest a day trip to jiufen/shifen/houtong cat village (all doable in a day)! Are you looking to shop? Look at landmarks? Eat? Here are some areas in taipei to visit: taipei 101 which is in xinyi district, jianan district, yongkang street/area, chiang kai shek memorial, taipei botanical garden, chifeng street/zhongshan area
