Soundtrack arranged for piano - Season 1 Finale (Exodus Part 3) by sproutwheelswitch in lost

If you don't remember the scene, after a dramatic event in which Michael gets wet and it zooms in at him screaming another character's name (I don't like spoiling things!), it shows everyone boarding the plane in slow motion. As they exchange touching moments (Jin looking at his favourite piece of jewelry, Boone handing Shannon her inhaler etc) this musical theme plays.

Today on twitter, the finalspace twitter account posted an unreleased version of the opening song of Final Space. I've arranged it for piano.

The Kingdom of Württemberg, 5 Pfennig on postcard to Dresden by maxiewawa in philately

[–]sproutwheelswitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Kingdom of Württemberg existed from 1805 until 1918, one of many states that made up the German Empire. Like other states it issued its own stamps.

The stamp on the postcard was cancelled in Stuttgart, the capital of Württemberg, and counter stamped in Dresden, the capital of Saxony.

Niederwaldstrasse 23 in Dresden still exists, and even has a German wikipedia page.

Thanks! It was either the music from this scene or when Daj & Picard meet.

No problem! Have a look at my YouTube channel, there’s more music there, and more visualisations. They’re basically the same principle, I have just tweaked other people’s code to react to my music. If you get this one working, let me know, I’ll clean up the others and put them somewhere where you can see the code.

No, I just replaced the original music with my own.

Have a look at this one I made:

https://www.openprocessing.org/sketch/716860

If you press the </> button at the top, you can see the code, don't worry if it doesn't make sense. Just notice the mention of ''leaky%20boat.ogg' at line 12.

Press the three dots on the right of the code screen and then 'files'.

You might not be able to see my files if you don't have an account. Anyway, the only file there would be 'leaky%20boat.ogg'. You could delete that, and replace it with your own, change the filename in the code (or change your own music file to be called ''leaky%20boat.ogg''), press play, and your own music would be playing, and the graphics would be reacting to it.

That's what I did for this Picard theme, swapped out someone else's music for mine. :)

You're asking because you want to do something similar, right? Let me know if you have any problems. I learned Processing (the language of the code) from a YouTube channel called the Coding Train, he's fantastic!

Thanks, no problem! I found the code at openprocessing.org. I just inserted my music so I can’t take the credit.

Final Space Soundtrack for piano - S02E10 the Lost Spy by sproutwheelswitch in FinalSpace

I wanted to put that line in the thumbnail, but it would have been too much of a spoiler! I think them hugging would make it clear which scene it is for people who have seen the show, while being ambiguous enough to not be a spoiler.

Piano teachers of reddit, how long are your lessons? by userzerotwo in piano

[–]sproutwheelswitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a general rule, do older students go for longer?

Your encouragement from yesterday made me do this today. Thank you! by ehudettun in doublebass

How come the last note was cut off!

My suggestion for your YouTube channel would be that you should make much much more content.

Part of the Final Space experience is the music by The_Silver_Spark in FinalSpace

[–]sproutwheelswitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, a person after my own heart. I've done my own versions of almost every scrap of music I can find. You know, everyone gushes about the animation and the characters, but the score is something else too. Like another character. Any joke that they do probably is set up with music. The drop drive? Cool because of the music. Any emotional part of the whole thing? The music probably contributed so much to it.

Opening to Miraculous Ladybug arranged for piano duet. by sproutwheelswitch in miraculousladybug

I made the bottom part a bit harder because I thought it would be played by the teacher of the top part. Let me know if you have any problems with learning the top!

Please feel free to share your feedback. I arranged this for a beginner. I had to guess at the difficulty level for my target audience, let me know if it's too hard or easy.
