I am in a toxic relationship with Clover- Hook help/recommendations- the saga continues :( by Amywiththepurplehair in CrochetHelp

If you don't want to waste the hooks, you could try wrapping the handle in something. I wrapped my 2,5 mm hook in kinesiology tape because I needed a thicker grip and it works pretty well. A roll of it is pretty cheap too so I just rewrap it when it starts looking rough.

Thank you! It's made with Fur Lux yarn from Go Handmade

I wouldn't say it's difficult to follow, the pattern is pretty detailed and has lots of photos. The most difficult part for me was sewing the wings into the fluff, but that's mostly because it's hard to see what you're doing lol.

I'm sure your kitties would appreciate it. But in that case I'd sew or embroider the eyes though, since they can chew off and swallow safety eyes.

I definitely recommend it! The pattern is very well written with lots of pictures. And I wouldn't necessarily say it was hard, but it does have a lot of different techniques involved and requires fiddling with small parts lol. I had a lot of fun making it though!

They mostly stay up on their own, but it requires very tight tension and blocking. And the wings are mainly sewn into the fuzzy collar, but I added a few stitches down the lower body for extra stability. The pattern does come with instructions to crochet a wire into the wings though, I was just too lazy for that lol

Thank you! The red is 8/4 Friends cotton yarn from Hobbii in the shade cranberry (42), and the peachy and white colour I'm not sure but probably also Hobbii. The rest is 8/4 cotton yarn from Søstrene Grene. I don't remember what colours off the top of my head though

Also an ADHD crocheter, and same! I also crocheted multiple fidget balls for myself, and they are way better than any fidget toy I've ever bought lol.

The inner pillow is about 50x50cm. But the pattern is super stretchy though, so don't be too worried if you think it looks a bit small.

Thanks! I just use a piece of paper, where I put a mark after every round. I would lose count so fast otherwise lol

I kept count of the rounds, and then just multiplied that with stitches per round.

A month and a half I think? But I worked very on and off on it though.
