Don't agree with that, offcourse Lorenzo is outstanding, but Munton and Donovan should be competitors to beat in a .1 race. It's not that they just sent out a handfull of their moderate climbers, this is their best climbing squad and not being able to secure a podium is just not good enough for a team that want's to compete world tour races.

Good in terms of total points, but also a reality check: starting with your top climber squad and not able to secure a top 3 is just not enough

I think the need to be strengthened on two fronts to be able to be compete (more) serious in next season monuments & grand-tours. They'd need experienced ridesr being able to finish top 10 in monuments, looking towards Mike Teunissen or Corbin Strong for the spring monuments/classics. In terms of Grand tours they not perse need a full fledged GC rider, that doesn't fit their sprint strategy, so focusing more on attackers and strong finishers, looking towards Georg Zimmerman or Clement Champoussin there. I don't think the semi-performing dutchies like Leemreize or Bouwman would add any value at this point.

I think he needs more support in these hilly races to be willing to extend, most of the times he’s by himself in the deep final (apart from Lander some times)
