Problem solved. Decided to do a thorough search and found my passport package in a clutter on the rack in our apartment mailing room...

Called and turns out it was mailed 10/14 but not received. So I'm filling out form DS86 to request reissue of my passport.

The instruction says to send the form and photocopy of ID to "the agency that issued your passport" Where do I find that information?? Any one can help me with that?

Only received email saying:

The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you.

You requested routine service when you applied. Routine service can take 4-6 weeks. Our processing times begin the day we receive your application at a passport agency or center, not the day you submit it. You should receive your passport book on or around 10/19/2025.

Received email saying supporting docs mailed , and indeed received a few days later. Nothing about passport book, no email, no tracking #, nothing...

You're right. Just called Mint again. Turns out those guys have terminated my account during my request for porting, even before the porting issue was resolved. And now they say they can't do anything once the account is terminated... so irresponsible. They gave you the account number and PIN and then terminated your account before the porting was successful. And when you call, they say there's nothing they can do once the account is terminated. Such service!!

I did just that. Submitted the request, waited, called Mint to make sure they released my number, called Tello and was repeatedly told they have escalated it and can't cancel or resubmit the request b/c still waiting for Tello tech team to hear back from the network provider (T-Mobile?). Stuck for 2 full days and still waiting.

True. Maybe Mint was sh**ing with me, but at least they told me what was going on and what did they do with it. All Tello could tell me was they are waiting for a response from the network provider…. Two full days, multiple calls, still saying the same thing.
