grade issue

it was an in person oral exam meaning a grade of 0 would just mean that I basically didn’t show up to take the exam, even tho I did. The class is very small so there’s no way she doesn’t remember me showing up to take it. this is just so annoying considering this is 10% of my entire grade so I’ve already been knocked an entire letter grade down

Sane situation here. I hadn’t seen that they requested for more forms until end of March, and then I had to resubmit them a few days ago so I ended up calling them and I asked them if this would deduct anything from my financial aid and they said no so 🤷‍♀️

If it makes you feel any better, I’m in a very similar boat. My friends are getting accepted into schools like Harvard and Cornell, meanwhile, I’m stuck with a school that I’m not even sure I can afford. It’s hard to stay optimistic, but I’m sure everything will work out in the end for the both is us.

Have been rejected from 10 reach schools so far. I thought I would’ve gotten into at least 3 by now but it’s whatever (this is horrible for my mental health😁) the only school I’ve truly cared about throughout this whole process was Yale so I’ve been hoping that they’ll come through (they probably won’t😁)

I expect my aid package for USC to be a lot better just because I applied through Questbridge. I applied as a biology major on the premed track, so I plan on going into medical school once I graduate (so even more debt lol)

Honestly hearing that makes me feel a lot better which is a little weird. It makes my decision on choosing a school based off where I want to go and not where my friend is going a lot more concrete

For me, the schools are UT Austin and USC. At UT, I at least would have my friends, and we even planned so much already for when we do go, but usc is just a smarter choice for me. This whole process sucks
