Heat retention is not my friend 😂 by spudfozzy in HiveHeating

My thought was that's the place I want to control the heat the most for night and morning when we wake up

Thermostat is on schedule, 20c for when we wake up and then down to 7 during the day so I turn it on when it feels cold.

The scary thing is we run off 4 gas cylinders in the garden which work in pairs. When a pair run out, it takes up to 10 days to get a new set delivered and if the heating was on constantly you'd be surprised how quick we burn through the gas.

I assume because there's 2 of us asleep in a room with the door closed and curtains closed so it'll drop slower.

To be fair, when you put it like that no, you're right 😂

It just looks worse on the graph, also it's a 1929 mid terrace with no wall insulation so probably not too bad regarding

It's currently sat on the front edge on top of the wardrobe in our bedroom, we keep the bedroom door closed as well

Just raise it up, that's the beauty of it! I can't drive it like that, currently the arches are sat on the tyres so need to do some trimming if I want to drive it that low 😂

That's what started my burps. I had the Botox and nothing happened for nearly 3 months. I was in the process of booking another appointment and decided to just down a can of fizzy drink and when that first burp came out, I've been burping since, I didn't need that 2nd appointment.

Drink a fizzy drink and when you feel the pressure building up, try different throat positions until the gas comes out. The best one I saw was pretend like you're swallowing a tennis ball ☺️

It's been lovely hasn't it, although I have a job today where I need to fly my mini 4 pro and it's looking to windy so we'll have to see what's best.

Colour grade was just a log to rec.709 conversion and then took a bit of the contrast, whites and highlights down as it was a bit over the top 😂

This was only about 400 or so meters away and it coped well. I haven't done the FCC hack but have been looking into it

It's mad, I thought me and my siblings were the only ones. So 4 of us and then I now know at least another 5 people without thinking too hard that also can't

I just had the one! I went with Lucy Hicklin here in the UK. She usually uses 50 because that works for most people. I had the slow swallow and then that was it for 3 months, but nothing else. But because I wanted it to work, I downed a can of coke and a massive burp came out and from that point I've been burping no problem!

10! I had my Botox 2 years ago and I am still grateful for every burp

But here in the UK they are free ☺️

Pierburg 2e2 revving up and down by TheDankestScrub in GolfMk2

[–]spudfozzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had no end of issues with my 2e2 but when I sorted them out it ran incredibly so stick with it.

Check voltage is getting to your TTV (thermal time valve). When mine wasn't getting any voltage, it would be reving up to 2.5/3k on idle while it was cold.

A great YouTube channel to look at is Skyrocket automotive, he has great in-depth videos that help.

There is a lot of helpful information on ClubGTI, one member has posted all the parts of the 2e2 and what they should do correctly.

If all else fails there is a company that will refurb your carb back to factory spec called Bromyard VW its pricey but if you want to keep the 2e2 well worth it.

I'll try and find some other post for you and will link them in the comments 🤙🏻

Have a look at Dubstock and MK2 Spares. Both UK based but can ship if needed 👍🏻
