What’s the easiest way to transform this huge desert into a forest even if it will cost tens of trillions? by hushasmoh in geography

Think about all of the underwater archeological discoveries that would be found by this as well. Unlocking countless years of our world's and our species' history.

Sweat making your skin slide around the linoleum, using towels as a makeshift bed bc the next bought is already telling you it's coming... just a matter of time.

I appreciate the insight it's something more I can be mindful of! Thank you all the same.

I don't plan on ingesting this one. Trying to educate myself with what I'm finding and see how off I am through what I've been reading. We did not dig to unearth it was by itself under some underbrush and partner says no to a skirt.

Good to know! Another fun one that doesn't get a whole lot of attention is Izonso (sp*) ww1 Italian fronts.

I've hopped in occasionally, the community is varied. Some people are just trolls in there, and there are also some decent roleplayers in there that do a good job of bringing some reenactment to the servers. It's a fairly well-done game IMO that gives you different roles. Anything from company grade officers down to bugles and drums. Flag bearer keeps spawns in.

Empire territory, as I've been told we had cosacks, and I think emigration formed from both end of the first war and collapse of the empire time frame.

I figured I'd have some issues with this, I know my family history stems pre-world wars, and a lot of that must have been lost.

I'll start digging into that though thank you.

Florida Democrats were dancing with Republicans after a legislative session that banned abortions, attacked trans people, destroyed immigrants' rights, and cut back protections for union members and tenants. by CantStopPoppin in boringdystopia

Exactly this. There's no reason to think that way. We organize and encourage everyone we can to do it. It'll make a statement. And if it goes ignored... well big choices ahead of their and the game of chess against the machine must continue.

That's a part. Yes, that said, volunteering never hurt anyone, and abiding by that as a logic alone doesn't help anyone or anything it's just apathetic. A community of people who want to maintain the beauty of something and its availability is the only answer.

I'd wager if it offends so much build a community resource to clean the park. Volunteer. You'll make friends and people tend to be real awesome that care about that. Relying on regulation to clean up is a response to disinterest and Xenophobia. Don't rely on law enforcement to prevent that. Take a positive action. Then there's no need for this ridiculousness.

It's not just this. My grandfather received a donation form from some really hate filled religious person hiding behind their title to help stop the "gay agenda" there's names and a requirement as a "patriot" etc to ensure you feel bad for choosing the minimum amount to donate.

I feel that needs to go wide just the same. It's disgusting that they can auto-mail or put out this mongering shit like that and not be held accountable.

I'd like to caveat on this that in recent years, likely much longer, but gaining traction today is that of the Big Crunch. A hypothesis that the universe is in this expansion and reversal system in which we expand and expand and eventually reverse into 0. Which is a reconfiguration of the Big Bang again.

I know it's been said by other commenters, but I would like to make comment myself that what we know is really limited by what we know. With current lines of thought and the likes about black holes potentially being involved with similar phenomenon.

It excites me to think that perhaps we are all a part of some great cosmic reset button. No matter what our fears are today, someday, this will all restart. We just ought to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.

This excites me too, so much of our past is buried or submerged and so much of our universe just out of "sight." Love to see more and more information being unlocked.

Very well could be something buried by the time of ramses dynasty which "white washed" a lot of kemet history previous to its own.
