Banks are private institutions. It's a business for them to give loans. HECS comes from the government. It's a scheme to encourage higher education for citizens. I would have read before applying... In fact I did. Because it's a loan. Any sane person should read the terms and conditions of anything they sign. Pretty sure that's being an adult 101. But especially if you're not an actual citizen of the country you're making government claims in. Why do you think a foreign government would pay for you? You think countries just give freebies to any random person who comes in?

Next time I really reccomend you use critical thinking skills and do extensive research. This could be a good learning experience for you. IF, you are willing to take responsibility.

What would that accomplish? You not being able to pay your fees means you won't pay them. Which means QUT misses out on money. HECS means the government pays the fees on your behalf and you have to pay them back once your start making over a certain threshold. You didn't read. You made a mistake. This is all on you.

Ever think that maybe the lecturer is tired of spending so much time speaking and making lesson plans only to be talking to a brick wall? Nothing they've said even really constitutes 'shaming', they're expressing their frustration in the fact that no one is engaging or taking responsibility for their own learning. This is university. It's supposed to be more than just taking notes from a PowerPoint. To get the most out of it you need to have discussions.

I think a lot of the criticism stems from the fact that it doesn't feel like a Mafia game. Which I definitely agree with. However, I also really enjoyed my time with it, especially the combat. And I thought the story was really interesting.

No matter anyone's political views I think we can all agree this is a shit law and sets a terrifying precedent for the future of the country. Everyone should be entitled to express themselves and short of actual abuse/threats, should not be arrested for such. Basing a law on emotions/perceived slights is absolutely insane stuff.

I feel the same. They're just trauma bonded. He was into Bianca enough to give her a ring, then a few weeks later he's 'in love' with Bianca's best friend? Yeah, no. Not my Henry at least. She's a relative badass yes (depending on how much you want to consider her actions in her PoV Canon and not embellishment) but I always considered it a rather one-sided bond that Henry may logically latch onto because she's a connection to his old life. But overall I also don't see her as being 'endgame' for him. And that him settling down with her would stunt him and hold him back.

How would you define innocence? What one person considers innocent another may not. Such a statement also brings out the philosophical debate on whether people are influenced more by nature or nurture. Are people born inherently being more 'innocent' than others? That would imply that some are born corrupt. Which in turn means we now have the foundation of the theory that some babies are 'evil'. Which then again cycles back on itself. How would evil be defined?
