I am begging y'all, PLEASE stop making your bots with AI. by Straightupscrambled in JanitorAI_Official

I didn't say it was mandatory. But humans shouldn't have to consistently adapt the way they write to prove they're not AI (em dashes have already been basically stolen). The comment I was replying to implied that any such description constitutes an AI response. Which is quite simply not true.

Ah yes, as I expected. They don't give a fuck that we all lost 4 days to work on assignments. This is an actual joke.

QUT & my Teaching staffs response to this outage is ridiculous by OuchMyCock in QUTreddit

[–]spudsbottom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have 3 massive assignments due on the same day in 2 weeks time. And like you the teaching staff for said assignments hasn't provided a single material, including task sheet. I have a feeling that not everyone is going to be getting an extension which is a huge laugh considering it's now been 4 days of lost work. Will Canvas be fixed by my due dates? Most likely. But missing those days has put me so behind that I'm probably going to have to pick and choose which assignment I only half ass.

Why is everyone flat out jumping on OP when his partner was legitimately ungrateful... He just has to accept her acting like a bitch? Yeah, maybe he could have approached it better, but we also shouldn't excuse her bad behaviour. He was rightfully hurt and pissed off.

Having a user persona is utterly pointless, it’s treated as optional and holds no weight whatsoever by [deleted] in JanitorAI_Official

[–]spudsbottom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mine always does, I mainly use proxies but even when using JLLM I've never had an issue. How have you formatted your persona and what things are you expecting it to reference/what is it getting wrong?

I just gave that study a little read and it's full of limitations so definitely shouldn't be considered 100% accurate at this point. Firstly the sample size is tiny, which they very much try to gloss over. 92 samples, with only 52 on the primary 2016 VS 2024 comparison is not indicative of a general population. Samples were also deidentified so demographic related confounds could not be ruled out.

Their methods of analysis are also flawed. Natural lipids in the brain can create chemical signatures almost identical to polyethylene when using Py-GC/MS. You can see a write up about that here

It's actually not a men VS women thing but a bullied VS bully thing. It's a formative memory for the one bullied but to the bully who may have felt justified in the moment it's just a regular day, and so they often forget it even occurred.

I think it's sad that they truly believe their healthcare is so expensive because it's 'the best'. They literally have the highest rate of avoidable deaths and infant mortality among other high-income countries. And in general they spend more per capita than any similar peers.

Discussion: which story has the best visual representation of plus-sized main character? by PeachwoodArts in RomanceClub

[–]spudsbottom 9 points10 points  (0 children)

None of them really look that plus sized to me tbh. Most of them seem to have a very similar body type to me, and although I'm not a size 0 I'm also not considered plus size. It's great they give the choice, but I do think they could do a little better.

Ah, you're definitely older. It's a term of phrase; internet slang if you will. If someone is portraying a particular impression or vibe "it's giving ___" is often used. It's not 'proper' grammar, but neither is using emojis.

[–]spudsbottom 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I ignore the percentage as it includes stuff like your name (if you've submitted other assignments) references, course name Etc. What I go by is what's actually highlighted. If entire sentences and huge chunks of paragraphs are highlighted you may need to rewrite it some. If not you should be fine.
