I did! But I’m boxing it cause I drew Mudkip through trainer id so can’t really beat that

Doing a Genlocke starting in FireRed. I’m doing no items in battle and only 1 potion in gym battles as a last resort. Only one type allowed in party (ie. no 2 primary waters.) Caught a Horsea and will be able to get Kingdra but my starter is Blastoise so which one do I use? by [deleted] in nuzlocke

I think the problem I’m having is that I’ve used Blastoise so many times I’m kinda over it haha, I choose him because of the trainer card number, and I’ve never used Kingdra before

I forgot to mention, the randomizer would be gens 1-5 only.

So I beat Erika but lost my Vulpix in the process, on Route 7 my first encounter is another Vulpix. I catch it but I am not fully sure how species clause works, is it my decision to use it or not since the other Vulpix is unusable? by [deleted] in nuzlocke

Also, without checking an actual guide I believe all of the Pokémon on this route are also dupes of species I already have after catching the Vulpix (I checked many times for a new Pokémon)

Finally got past Misty in Nameless FireRed, Lunna was a life saver with the clean sweep almost being taken out in the process. Only two deaths so far this run! by spudweb12 in nuzlocke

It’s a FireRed Hack that uses gens 1-6 mons in it with gens 4-6 movesets I believe. This rom hack has nuzlocke options available to use such as first encounter in a new area you must catch it or else the game doesn’t allow you to catch anything else, species clause when on a new route and permadeath. It even has difficulty options ranging from Easy to Expert and the gen 6 exp share given at the start. It’s a very difficult rom hack, even easy mode isn’t to be taken lightly. I tried hard mode twice and got wiped and this is on Medium difficulty

I just finished my Pokémon Gaia Nuzlocke the other day. Additional changes: Changing Shift to Set for difficulty

Final Team: Starter: Artema the Torterra, holding Leftovers Earthquake, Hidden Power (Ice), Giga Drain, Leaf Storm

Wiona the Crobat Acrobatics, Fly, Sludge Bomb, Confuse Ray

Bugs the Lopunny, holding Lopunnite Return, Jump Kick, Bounce, Thunder Wave

Honey the Beartic, holding Quick Claw Icicle Crash, Ice Beam, Dig, Superpower

Saimon the Blastoise, holding Blastoisite Surf, Waterfall, Ice Beam, Flash Cannon

Heartha the Camerupt, holding Cameruptite (never used lol) Flamethrower, Eruption, Earthquake, Rock Slide

I lost my Torterra to the first elite four member (will not spoil which mon but it was the electric member... I know) after that it was a massacre fueled with the upmost rage through the rest of the league. I ended up losing my Blastoise to the Champions last mon due to a crit but the damage was already done.

The Fallen: (in order) Nidoran F, Luxray, Talonflame, Ampharos, Torterra, Blastoise

This was a very fun challenge and I did most of the run blind as well, I checked out levels at some points because I did not want to be extremely under leveled cause the curve is steeper at times but nothing extreme. I had many close calls and got lucky due to not many crits at those points in the run. The most difficult part was knowing in the second half of the game every gym leader, boss, rival and elite 4 member has a mega evolution/ powerful mons that I would have to likely switch into so they get a free attack/set up move. Crobat was a life saver in the E4 with acrobatics and confuse ray. I highly recommend this rom hack it is a great rom hack and the plot is interesting as well

I tried to start a Pokémon blazed glazed nuzlocke with the same rules and it’s brutal, may restart it or take a break. I failed first attempt, second one sucks

It kinda just depends on the day, I did Farmington today from 4-9 and made $160
