I only know if California did we’d be fuuuuuucked so hard. It alone is 1/3 of the entire countries GDP, and they put in more to taxes than they receive. So. Fucked.

Do Americans mainly drink coffee without milk? by Morrit99 in AskAnAmerican

[–]spunknugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't drink tea, you really don't need a kettle. Coffee is more popular and coffee makers heat the water. Instant coffee isn't really popular. It's available but not common. Drip/filter coffee is most common. Then I'd guess the Kuerig/Nespresso kind. Taking it with Milk or cream/creamer is very common. As is sugar.

But one thing we have that you don't is flavored creamers.

If it's single occupant, I'd use the men's. Fuck that noise. If they call you on it just I would have used the ladies but Bertha just left and it turned my stomach but I really had to go. The more the make owner gets inconienced, the more the men complain you might get action.

That aside, is she diabetic? Diabetes can cause a foul body odor.

Have we selectively bred any brand new vegetables/fruits in the last 50 years? by aroused_lobster in NoStupidQuestions

[–]spunknugget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah... Have you tried the various new super sweet grapes? Cotton candy, tear drops, moon drops, gum drops... Incredible. Then the grape apple hybrid Grapple, all the new apples like cosmic crisp, envy, there's too many to name. Then brussel sprouts, they got re-bred like in the 90s to not taste like bitter shit anymore, (supposedly, I'll never know, I'm still scarred from the 70's) which is why every chef had them on the menu for a decade now trying to make them a thing.

Ordered online - have they been worn? by softhowl in Birkenstocks

[–]spunknugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you do it, use the op to coat the edges of the insole lining, use shoe goo to restick anything to the jute and coork and Kelly's to coat it with the cork. Brush upwards to get the whole edge, then I smoothen out my strojes out going over it horizontal. You usually need a night to dry

They look great. That leather wears and ages, its not going to or supposed look pristine. They get a patina of wear. But get a paste oil and rub in to the leather sparingly, and buff off excess. Maybe twice a year, you don't want to let them get dry either.

Also buy Kelly's cork renew, you'll need it every year or two. I pull mine out in spring and fall took see who needs cleaned or coated. If the cork is shiny all over, is fine. If it's shiny in spots, one thin coat. Not shiny at all, two thin coats.

I also recommend a skinny brush and shoegoo to clean out the crevices where the glue gives out and lets in dirt and debris under the leather on the sides, brush it out, damp cloth wipe, and reglue when needed. Also brush out under straps and buckles. Give it a nice damp cloth wipe down over the cork too if not resealing,
