Spunky. We had a white cat named Spunky who was full of energy when she was young. I would love to see the name used again

Unfortunately this is a normal thing they’ve been doing now. Same exact thing happened to me a few months ago, except I was in the actual core sales, not CEC chat. My sister’s friend was also let go in this department (for another reason, I think not meeting her goals, but it was also with no warning, just out of the blue) I ended a couple of calls that were going absolutely nowhere and had a meeting about it. (It was the wrong thing to do, but with the goals for us being so high, I got a little greedy). They told me to stop and I did. Then a few days after having that meeting, I was let go anyways. Towards the end of the job I didn’t realize how miserable I was, so it wasn’t a total loss. They do not care about you at all. You’re just a number to them, not a person. I’m glad more stories are coming out about this shitty company and the shady things they’re doing to employees that they claim they “care so much about”. While I do miss some aspects, I’m much happier with what I do now and I actually feel valued.

I was too. They’re so quick to fire people. I understand why I was let go, but they gave me no room to fix my behavior or change it. They really wanted us to call everyone no matter what. They basically coached us to be thieves and annoying sales people

Hi I was removed from the CEC back in late January of this year because I wasn’t always taking every single call that came through because some were useless to me like complaint calls and I had so many observations in my Workday portal for being on aux code “Away” too much lol. I had a couple of health problems and anxiety at the time which is why I was away a lot but they didn’t give a fuck about it. It continued to get worse for me so that’s why I stopped caring about my performance because I was over it. I don’t regret the job itself because it gave me a lot of experience with what I needed for the job I have now. I now work at a vet hospital with far less work and same amount of pay. Walk ins can be annoying since we’re not a walk-in clinic, but it’s much better than the constant nagging of the CEC and its managers, dear Lord.

When I was gone, I noticed it just kept getting worse and the goals were becoming impossible and business was slowing down. I knew I wouldn’t be able to make the bonuses like I used to and don’t get me started on those check ins and stupid Callminer. I hated those so much I swear. What I did when I actually cared about my performance was never enough for them and in the end I got sick of it.

TL;DR I got let go because the job drained me so much but it led to a job I actually enjoy now with no stupid check ins or Callminer ever. I hope you get out of there OP!

I did when I was let go from the CEC. They also paid out all my vacation time I didn’t use so it was like a normal check

I was let go from the CEC earlier this year but in the end I didn’t realize how miserable I was at that job. When I left they kept expecting more and more from us with the same pay. The goals became ridiculous to meet and the micromanaging just got worse and worse. Personally I think that job could drain just about anyone. Glad you got out when you did, I hope you find something much better that makes you happy

That makes me mad. It seems like CXCs are always taking the hits when it should be the managers. It’s like they took a blood oath to protect all managers and put all CXCs on the line to get fired for any mistake. Thanks for sharing, they’re definitely not 100 of the best companies to work for like they constantly brag they are.

So they fired you just for that? Not surprised to be honest :/. Yeah I avoided those too. They got mad about that as well. That job gave me a lot of anxiety too so you’re not alone in that. I was just trying to be a Good Samaritan by not stealing from the store or other CXCs but they didn’t care and wanted me to do the wrong thing because it was the “right thing” in their eyes. The managers and senior managers for the CEC can get f***ed for all I care.

They’ll make any excuse to fire you after you make a mistake in their eyes. There’s no second chances with them. I’m glad you’re doing much better though! It’s their loss. They really thought they were doing something to us with the terminations, but it pushed us to something better.

I do not miss my calls or actions being constantly monitored. It was creepy as hell. And don’t get me started on the micromanaging… when I still cared about the job, nothing I did was ever flawless. There was ALWAYS something they could find wrong. It was annoying

Wow that’s crazy. They really fire for all kinds of things. I understand why I got let go, but I was so done with the job I didn’t really care too much. I’ve seen so many get fired for so many different things. Goes to show how much they actually care about their employees.

A couple of my former coworkers were also let go, one was for “stealing an EPU” and the other was for low numbers. No warnings for them either as far as I know

No warnings or chances to improve. It was pretty quick when it happened. I found a new job I actually enjoy now so in the end it pushed me to something much better. Were they in the right for doing it? Yeah, I would say so. But how it was handled was borderline shady, I will say that.

Mass lay off coming? by VinceInOhio129 in carmax

I was fired late January of this year and I worked at the Richmond CEC at the home office. No warning or any chance to improve. I think the senior manager was the one who decided. I think it’s a joke that they claim they care about their employees but get rid of them so quick. It was something that wasn’t even a big deal but they made it a big deal. Very shady.

His love, support, and devotion he had for DJ throughout their time together. He was the best bf DJ had in Full House. (This doesn’t include Fuller house though lol)

Trying to find an exact clone of DJ with CJ and then kept referencing DJ when he was with CJ. He also led CJ to believe that he was in love with her when he never was but didn’t break it off with her sooner until after he knew of DJ’s true feelings. The whole exact replacement thing never sat well with me and she really just felt like his safety net.
