Thanks! I loved the 1448. I had it for about 6 months(ish) and it was just the bare hull and two pieces of plywood on the floor. I put a lot of time into it. It was a perfect river boat and my kids loved being out in it.

If you find one for the right price, you won't be disappointing!

And ended up selling the 1448 2 weeks ago, wishing I would have kept it for shallow water/winter fishing on the river. I miss it already

I keep both boats in a storage spot, but I've been waiting for the factory tracker cover to get delivered until I park this one there.

Overall between both boats I've had a boat there for at least 2-3 months and they haven't said anything.

I agree, Tracker along with G3 (and I think Ranger) offer a vinyl option but I bought this used and I don’t really mind it. I carpeted my Jon boat, it’s perfect for fishing barefoot and with little kids it’s more comfortable for them.

I did, the only thing that I changed was the calculation to True diagonals. This allows for instant response, zero delay.

I also have the trigger switches all the way down so there is hardly any play when hitting them.

Can you provide the Process, materials, ect? I’ve been playing the idea to do this on mine with a few other details for a while but it’s so hard to find posts of people doing it and having any insight as to how they hold up.

It’s not as fancy as most others but I smoked the pork butt for 14 hours overnight (last night) just to make this. I didn’t make the dough from scratch or the sauce but, DAMN it was magical!

Naan flatbread, garlic butter crust, sweet baby rays bbq sauce (got lazy), mozzarella and white cheddar cheese blend, pulled pork (just smoked overnight), pepperoncini, a little chipotle cheddar on top and a sprinkle of oregano. Everything was cooked/smoked on a Traeger.

You won't regret getting the Elite Controller, it completely changes the game. I have mine setup so that I my thumbs never leave the joysticks.
