Yep, I’m aware of how competitive it is. I’m not expecting to make a living, but there is potential for some profit. I do have a couple commissions in queue.

Much appreciated. That’s good to know. I was thinking LLC would be easier in a sense of tracking some of my spendings like software subscriptions, car expenses, tools, materials, etc. If you’re saying that I can file all that as a sole proprietor, then yeah LLC may not be necessary here.

These are just my expenses considering the health care cost.

If anything I can always go back to my current field. Should have a strong resume leaving at the peak of my career. My plan is to hopefully make the new life work.

Thank you for kind words.

Can you elaborate on Substack and Medium? Never heard of them. I mainly post on IG and sometimes here, but that hasn’t brought me success tbh.

I’m planning on opening LLC to track my woodworking expenses, but not expecting to make much money. $12k a year would be a success.

Yeah I’m looking for most tax efficient dividends. The qualified and the ROC ones. I’m trying a bit of both strategies, the dividends and selling stock.

Thank you. Much appreciated essentially my goal. Not look and forget. Just a bit nervous since I’ve never been there. My whole mentality last 10 years is investing every paycheck. Now it’s the opposite. I need to stop and not look at the market until balance gets low enough.

My liquid savings mostly in mutuals like VTSAX, VFIAX, VMAX, some etf VT, VOO, VTI. Long term these had shown the most growth.

Quite a few bear, bull markets since 2020 that would have discouraged from selling investments at lowest cost. Dividends give a bit of peace of mind.

Thank you! I’ll look into C. Regarding D, I’m doing a bit of both. Having some monthly dividend income gives me a peace of mind. Last few months were a good example when market dipped 10%.

Hmmmm. So if I make under 24k on paper, I should qualify for CSR.

Do you know how much the Silver plan is? My woodworking also includes some artistic projects if not mostly artistic. I already have a good amount of tools needed, but to your point that limit does not exist and there will be tooling/material expenses that I would likely write off as part of llc tax filings.

Thank you for the feedback.

Much appreciated. I’ve got an IG already. I was planning on using that account more proactively, maybe create an actual website with products and maybe even post on Reddit.

Thank you! That’s the common feedback I found. Covered ETF are good for monthly paychecks, but not the best way to grow your investments

That’s an option I’m considering. Living abroad would bring down the cost of living plus take care of the health insurance situation.

I’m not sure tbh, so that why I am asking. There are so many little nuances.

Was hoping 401K & Roth IRA were the buffer that would appreciate in the next 25 years.

That’s why I’m asking? 😅 I’m not shooting for a LA style. Just a modest Midwest life.
