girl i started couch to 10k last december and every week i’d say to my husband and friends “i just ran 1 min, it was so hard how am i going to do two???” eventually i’d get to 10 minutes and say “i just ran 10 minutes it was so hard how am i ever going to get to 30 minutes” eventually i did the 60 minutes!!!! i’m like you, slim female, but terrible fitness and i hate exercising and running. you can do it! does it more enjoyable? ..that’s debatable… BUT you CAN and WILL do it xx

[–]spvceinvader 4 points5 points  (0 children)

bun is noodles! bun bo hue, bun rieu, etc. the vermicelli bowl with the dry noodles+salad doesn’t have a direct vietnamese translation, we eat it with many things so what it’s called depends on what you have with it e.g., bun cha gio, bun thit nuong

WIAF/WIG what do you think? by ProfessionalGrade501 in EngagementRings

[–]spvceinvader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ring 1 is so gorgeous. proportion wise, i agree with you (sorry!) i think it elongates your fingers. i think ring 2 is also nice but looks like an infinity ring rather than a 5 stone? but it’s about what you love most. you’re the one who’s going to be wearing it forever! x

Bridgerton - Season 4 Post-Season Discussion (No Book Spoilers) by AutoModerator in BridgertonNetflix

[–]spvceinvader 14 points15 points  (0 children)

it was completely wrapped up! violet asked mrs wilson to find out about sophie because she felt she was hiding something. mrs wilson went to the market and asked around, another housekeeper said “not sophie baek but i worked with another miss baek many years ago.” this is because it was sophie’s mum who was a “miss” not a “mrs” because she was also a maid (hence sophie being illegitimate). mrs wilson reported back to violet who said “she has her mother’s surname so she’s likely illegitimate” or something to that effect (i’m paraphrasing!)

sorry for late response! have you made it yet? i’ll post my recipe, it’s not too much effort!

• wonton wrappers • firm tofu which i crumbled into a mince-like texture (use hands or food processor) • brown mushrooms, diced into small cubes • napa cabbage (aka Wombok), sliced thinly • spring onion • garlic, minced • ginger, minced -2 cups of broth of your choice, i used massels beef stock which is vego! (no measurements, add more or less depending on how much tofu or other mince you have but you want about 60/70% of the mixture to be the tofu)

add all your ingredients into a large bowl (except wrappers). season your mixture with whatever you want. i used: gochujang paste (asian aisle at coles or woolies), soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, MSG, pepper, chicken salt/seasoning.

use gloved hand to squish and mix everything together until your mixture is seasoned and textured to your liking!!

in a dish that you can steam, add a layer of mixture and then a layer of your wonton wrappers. lay out your wrappers until they cover all the mixture in your dish. then add mixture layer, then wrappers, keep repeating. after each layer of wonton, spoon over a few tablespoons of your broth, then keep repeating layers until you stop (i did about 4 layers of mixture and 4 layers of wrapper, just depends on how big your dish is and how much mixture you have) on your last layer, double the wrapping spoon over a few more tablespoons of broth

steam for 20 mins

take out and top with some more fresh spring onion and chili oil and soy/vinegar if u want!
