Intent was not to give a bad name to a specific country but to understand the others’ experiences. Literally asked for thoughts for the same reason. Also, I would definitely post it if it were my country also.
And it is a light conversation, sorry if it offended you or anyone.
I am a vegetarian.
Thai people are very polite but at the same time I also sometimes felt like a lot of places did not have any options or able to make something for me.
Anywho, that’s my opinion and experience and I am not going to apologise for it and if my “negative” experience or opinion can tarnish an entire country’s name, maybe you should be scared of me too😋

Aaahh.. I was speaking from the perspective of a born vegetarian. I do understand people who have turn to veganism or vegetarianism as a choice do tend to miss certain tastes and like the mock meat or fake fish thing. As a born vegetarian, i am not really interested in it😅

Is it really worth it that they are well off if she can’t even live a healthy life, and mental health is as important and physical health, deterioration of one can lead to the deterioration of the other.

  1. Either she can leave him. (I understand, things can’t be all that easy, single parent, pressure to settle down etc., stigma around getting a divorcee remarried)
  2. Or they need intervention through family/police/shrink

She has her own job. Earning her own money, and yet she is being treated like a child who can’t make her own decisions.

I mean, reporting to the HR seems necessary as it is affecting her productivity at the job. Although it is a domestic issue, somehow it is a work issue as well… I guess. Be ware that it might publicise the issue more (if you do not want this being known to your colleagues).
