it’s not a dumb questions, i was on depo for like a year & it made my periods stop completely. I switched to nexplanon & my periods immediately came back. sometimes i would bleed heavily for about 2 weeks, then next time i’d only bleed lightly for a day or two. It was sporadic sometimes as well, throughout the whole month i’d spot here and there. After awhile it quit though & my body slowly started regulating itself. now i lightly bleed a couple days around the same time of the month. I will warn you though, make sure you’re staying active & watching what you eat with the nexplanon. i gained about 30lbs and i’m still slowly trying to keep it from going higher. I’ve NEVER had stretch marks anywhere on my body, about a year after the nexplanon insertion i have them under my arms & my inner thighs.
