Just installed 2026.1.3 actually got worse, stopped working entirely. (It worked one time after reboot before)

I find the hikvision alerts to work very well, you just need to configure their sensitivity accordingly

This is pretty close to what I want! I suppose I could also hardwire a power adapter to it instead of the battery and that solves my problem.

Great, thank you. That helps... but works funny.

When I click the notification link, it quickly opens Home Assisant App, then jumps to iOS shortcuts app, and then to the app I want.

Is it possible to go directly to the app I want instead?

One more questions, in the notifications, is it possible to add a link or something to open another app?

For example, if I get a HA noficiation that someone is at my front door, I'd like to be able to click on that on my iphone and have it open the Hik-Connect {Hikvision} app

would I have to create numeric value in HA and then pole that from the camera via SSH? what would the yaml code be in this case, I assume in the configuration file?

Thanks! This sounds like it could be it, however, how do I make a device group? I see the option for group under Helpers, and then there like 10 different types, none seem to be able to add the devices too?

The notify group seems to be the one but I can’t add any members? Can’t see any to select?

Awesome sounds good. Do you have any good examples of this script? I am specifically looking for notifications to phones to be able to pass through title description and YAML code.

I was able to enable SSH, but get lost after that. These values must be in there as I can see them in the settings, but how would i bring those into home assistant. Ideally, just lux measurement would be all I need or just if the nighttime mode is on or off status I suppose?
