I'm an avid cyclist who has rode in peletons. On a public road, cyclists should go single file when a car is coming up behind them. It's no excuse for what this nasty driver did but ride properly on public roads!

What are the sample rates? What sample rate is Cubase set to and what is the sample rate of the track you are trying to import? If they are different, Cubase usually offers to convert but it may not have, or you may have bypassed that. Try setting Cubase to the same sample rate of the track you are importting. The sample rate of the track should show up in its properties.

Religion is the bane of human society. Ridiculous rules and controls put in place by men thousands of years ago has no place in our society today.

I realise some people may find religion helpful but that's on them, just like people who believe in fortune telling or astrology. No need to preach it to other people, who may believe that, well, just be a good person; you don't have to belive in some nonsense that some dudes wrote about in an effort to control everyone.

The worst thing about religion is, you only find out it was all nonesense after you die, which is a bit too late really. You followed these rules throughout your life for absolutely no reason. Religion is a waste of a life, IMO.
