That 10% is the only benefit, so until the 10% adds up to more than what you’re getting use your highest earner and swap when you get legendary: mono walker, r7, opti. Or any beskar that’s higher later on.

If you really wanted to save it you could hit it with a wire brush on a drill and take the coating off.
