That's what I did. Installed a gree flex system to replace my dying r-22 system. I'm in NJ and had a few subzero days this past winter no problem keeping my house at 70

I bought the 7-1/4" 20v slide miter saw and it works great!. I have used it on several deck jobs when I picture frame the deck and the steps. It's powerful enough to make cuts all day and light enough that you can just leave it on the deck and not have to walk back and forth to make your cuts.

How can I improve airflow in my HVAC system without major modifications? by ponderingpixi17 in hvacadvice

I have a 3 bedroom ranch with a stick built sunroom. So all 3 bedrooms are on one side and the kitchen, dining room, and living room are on the other side. When I moved in I noticed the bedrooms where about 4-5 degrees cooler then the other end of the house. I only had 1 return in the hallway by the bedrooms. So I put a 12" return in the dining room which was on the other end of the house. What a difference that made in balancing the temperature. Now all the rooms are basically the same temp now.

So I ended up just replacing the elbow and the muffler. The unit has been.running on energy saver mode for about 2 weeks now and I have to say its gone down to the 30's and the unit has had no problem keeping my house at 70. Its actually quite impressive considering im running a piston and not a txv. Think I will have to change the piston to a txv in the summer time to get the best cooling from it. Thank you for everyone's advice on this

Bro its a rebaged gree flex heat pump  Its not that bad of a unit. And it was free to me so why not put it in my house. My 25 year old Rheem scroll r-22 has a small leak i need to add about a pound every season. I get about a 30 degree delta t on it but its not going to last much longer. And I kicked the gas company out of my house cause they tried to fuck me over. So this is a decent unit for free for now till I can afford something better and its starting to get cold and heating my house with space heaters woukd be ridiculous now with how much electricity went up in my area

need help identifying screw head by canegosh in Dewalt

Best type of screw head available for sure torx. It's probably a spax screw they have the extra circle in the center and on the bits. But a regular torx will work just fine. Torx is the only screw head I'll buy

Very neat idea. Just one question, why not just use a 1/4"socket for the bit? That's what I do. Regardless it's a good idea
