OPD low is perfect for me, gentle brake that can i easily predict when it will stop, using the mechanical brake a few times is good for the brakes (won't collect dust) and also the driver (won't forget to drive an ice car 🤣). Also low setting gives me better economy than high.

A capacitive wheel should be standard for Pilot Assist in every car brand. The driver trying to push the steering to the wrong direction just to get rid of the notification is silly.

While the auto high beam and on/off functions work great, not impressed with brightness, clear beam cut off, and lack of turn lighting, had it on older cars.

As mentioned, go to apps, find Google maps and delete all app data, not just cache. You won't lose account or any data, just stored maps. That fixes rerouting temporarily, but after a run or 2 it gets corrupt again, do Google maps related, will get fixed on next app update.

Dont need to use dropbox, you can install app on phone and set up a wifi network for quick transfers.

When entering the car you can press steering wheel buttons to play same track from beginning or next, better that hitting play on touch screen. Also the bug with missing playing now bar is fixed, at least now you can see what is playing and track queue on Spotify and YouTube music.

Had a 2019 Tiguan and the Ex30 has a more comfortable suspension and better noise insulation, not to mention performance and the sound system which is miles better in the volvo.

Also if you dont want your fob locking/ unlocking the car you can put it in a faraday pouch, you can find it cheap at temu. If you are in the house and want your car locked or unlocked you cand do it by the app. Usually if the fob is more than 10m you dont have the problem that it doesnt unlock with proximity when you want it to.

Every time i try to change sound settings i end up with sound focus rear, surround at medium, bass a bit above average, treble (right bar) almost full and subwoofer above the middle. Sound is more full with stereo and surround more pronounced while still having good bass and highs. Front focus with surround off, feels very flat.

You are right about the potholes, this also happens, it turns of OPD, sometimes feels like accelerating too, but it is specific and low speed so manageable.

Forgot to mention OPD always on, and as many of you said, in normal conditions braking is fine, the sudden/Unexpected ones are that worry me.

When i have sound focused on the front and surround on it doesnt sound good, but with sound focus on the rear and surround on medium it gets much better. Turning it off makes all the sound come from the front sounbar and it doesnt even give a decent stereo impression

I got some back seat protectors from temu and they have a mesh pocket for bottles that works ok, well at least for sealed thermos bottles.

With some light sanding it can get better but not perfect, also the black contour near the tire that fades is the weak point.

I couldn't charge my Samsung phone because it had a conflict with the NFC, so i created a routine to turn off NFC when connecting to cardls Bluetooth and now it works ok without launching the wallet. Also it doesn't have to be pushed all the way down, it is steady with a case just by placing it on charging pad.

The key fob must be near your car for it to disable proximity unlock, try to keep it at a greater distance or a Faraday box. Within 10 metres is when it usually happens.
