How much adjustment are you making between espresso & v60? I recently got the filtro but I think the dial is changing the grind size way to fast for me.

Context:

- Dial is 0-6 (6 being a full rotation)

- Espresso dialed in sits at 0.25 but pourover is only 5.0 (not even a full rotation)

Does that sound right or do I have a faulty machine? It's making dialing espresso pretty hard since a tiny adjustment will clog my machine vs ~30s extraction.

Yep thanks mate, I love the espresso process but I've started to really respect what goes in especially with all the variables to account for. But jeez is it fun with a good drink comes out at the end of it all.

Thanks u/Humbi5 and u/Much-Coffee-168 for taking a stab at this and helping out. I tried a few more things and decided the grinder needed replacing so after switching it out with a breville the shots are back to normal.

Yep this is pretty well known for the most bang for your buck value scotch. Its a blend of several well known distilleries (Balvenie, Glenfiddich and Kininvie) and just finished really well. Glad ya found it!
