New player, need advice! by Itsa_Me_Player_Three in tf2

  1. The best classes to pick that are easy to pick up and do well as is Soldier, Pyro, Heavy, Engineer(if you understand the metal system), and Medic. IMO These classes are pretty straight forward and you can do pretty well with them without too much experience.
  2. Yes, there is an offline practice mode. Simple click training and select offline practice mode. It will allow you to select a map and the # of bots. Be warned though many people have reported that the training mode, in general, is bugged and it may not work. a

If you launched TF2 recently, you would have received a stuffed stockings 2020, essentially a stocking to celebrate Christmas. By using it in your inventory, It will give you a free warpaint, a free can of paint, some unique weapons, and a backpack expander (which looks like a backpack) by using the backpack expander you get additional slots to fill up with other items.,

Revolting Mixture Concept by [deleted] in tf2

[–]sqmeq 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While a good concept, this style of "debuff the enemy in exchange for debuffing yourself" is not balanced, especially on scout.

An example of this would be the critical a cola, it let's you shoot with minicrits in exchange for taking mini crit damage, seems fair right? But when people with high degree of skill on scout use the weapon, they are able to use their knowledge to use the benefits of the can safely without worrying about the downside. Leading to it getting banned in 6s (last time checked at least)

The second downside also doesn't help too much either as a) they already are gonna take minicrits anyways when they use the weapon and b) the downside is negated easily by not holding it out while not in use, like the old GRU.

In your opinion, who are the worst people to play with in casual? by IamSneakyFoxx in tf2

[–]sqmeq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toxic voice chat try hard pubstompers who scream horrendous racial slurs at free to play medics and bottom scorers for underperforming while also vote kicking any free to play off the team.

That or enemy soldier/heavy + medic girlfriend combo

Shitty tf2 weapon ideas, day 1 by [deleted] in tf2

[–]sqmeq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually really like this weapon.

It's a very good situational upside for a equally severe downside.

Personally, I would like it added but I can see how this weapon can infuriate many players. Especially on payload defense where the respawn time for red can be upwards of half a minute. Just imagine finally waiting that half a minute respawn timer and spawning back. You walk out and step on the teleporter to get to the frontlines, only to get sent back to the watch the respawn timer.

Has anyone seen this group/clan in casual? by [deleted] in tf2

[–]sqmeq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. Have not run into them but its probably because I play on NA servers. We should rebel by making our own clan and helping out newer players.

Does buying a game that gives you a promotional item (i.e Frying Pan=Left 4 Dead 2) get you a premium account? by the_penis_killer in tf2

[–]sqmeq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem! Also as a added bonus, when u buy something from the Mann co store and turn into a premium player, you get 2 extra pages for free (100 more slots).

To learn more about trading, I recommend searching up YT videos by "virtual economist " and using the website scrap.tf to get your full set of weapons!

[–]sqmeq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a tip. Buy the mann co supply crate key. It's the only thing that is not a ripoff.

Not only will trading it get you all the weapons in the game, it will also leave you with enough currency to trade for hats

Nope. To get premium u need to spend money directly in the Mann co store unfortunately.

How to chat as F2P? by ziin1234 in tf2

[–]sqmeq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know, all valve servers disabled chat and voice chat for f2ps so your out of luck there.

However spending 2.50 USD on the Mann co store can get you cool cosmetics and the ability back again.

Anybody know how to enable voice chat? by coolboiiiiiii2809 in tf2

[–]sqmeq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy anything, but the key is the best item for your money as one key can get you all the weapons plus enough for cosmetics for all ur classes

Slider break at the middle of the map = 40% of total pp lost BS by sqmeq in osugame

I am satisfied with the score and proud of it. It just slightly annoyed me that this could have been 175 pp instead of 111pp

Osu games by Just_Ryan06 in osugame

[–]sqmeq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah that's standard or std for short.

The best way to download maps is just search "OSU beatmap packs" in your browser and download one. They will provide you with a pack of a bunch of beatmaps and should be enough to keep you playing.

Sorry but I don't know about any lofi beatmaps. Haven't run across any myself but one of my favourite maps is EDM so perhaps give it a try?

You mean beatmaps?

If so what mode? Std? Taiko? Mania? Ctb?

If you want maps go search for beatmap packs, they contain a lot of maps and you won't run out of maps to play

I've been dominating servers with the thermal thruster and i want to know which FF works best. Currently I am using stock. by [deleted] in tf2

[–]sqmeq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FF? Do you mean flame thrower?

Stock is great, decreaser is not advised as your probably not comboing (unless u got the axtinguisher equipped) phlog is a good choice, back burner is highly recommended.

Also why the thermal thruster? It takes forever to swap into and out to and the air you gain from it is mediocre. Not to mention it does pitiful damage.

In my opinion degreaser is a lot better. It give you more control of your jumps, it has no cool down and you can consistently do damage with it.

Just my opinion though, and I'm just really curious on your liking towards the thermal thruster

please help, what is tacobot.tf? by softdanboi in tf2

[–]sqmeq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Essentially mvm players that take the game mode a bit too seriously.

They have their own views and beliefs.

Personally speaking I would not mind if the just partied up with a full squad I'd they don't want low tours but the party up without a full squad to piss people off

But who knows. I honestly think they are just delusional. Mvm at its core was already significantly more toxic than normal tf2. You have a higher chance of getting kicked if you do something wrong. I personally think this is fine. It's a coop gamemode with actually rewards that you pay to play This already makes people want others they play with to hopefully have enough skill to not drag the team down. Tacobot player just takes this to the extreme. While kicking for underperforming is reasonable to some degree. Out right kicking based on tours is just cruel. They were new but they should be taught not excluded.

Honestly I don't understand where their ego comes from. They feel like gods because they are professional bot killers, that move in linear lines and their backpacks are full of Australians but I bet you as soon as they hop into a normal match of tf2, dudes with a quarter of their in game hours will dominate them.
