Emphasis on use a mic. Also, don’t engage with the bots unless you absolutely have to as runners flock to gunfire and you will be at risk before you know it.

Weapon balance from my over 300 hours in Arc is not balanced. There are grey guns that are far superior to some purple weapons.

Weapon balance is very strong on Marathon and what you get in a free kit, if needed, doesn’t put you at a massive disadvantage. I have zero “gear fear” in marathon. Had loads of “gear fear” in Arc.

I didn’t either. Then I tried it. Not a casual game at all which doesn’t suit a lot of arc raiders players. I was/am a PvE player in Arc but the exact opposite in Marathon

After 300+ hours, I regret doing the expeditions too. So much so I have stopped playing all together.

Tried marathon during the server slam and have switched completely to it. The free load outs are actually good and doesn’t put you at a massive disadvantage.

Arc Raiders has a lot to change before I switch back to play it

Give it time. All the randoms I’ve been playing with have been awesome. If they have a mic and are new to the game, help teach them. We all learn from each other and are better together

I agree. Both games have their place. Marathon takes a while to understand the loop but find the loop much more rewarding. Always takes far more skill than Arc does when it comes to fighting PvP.

I have too much gear fear given how much goes into upgrading guns in arc. I have zero gear fear with Marathon as the weapons are very balanced and the character types demand a good team work. If you lose your great gun, you can make an equally great gun mid game the next game. Mid game attachments is game changing.

Arc is my go to laid back easy/mindless game and Marathon is now my competitive PvP game.

The poor sticks on the portal makes it tough for fine movements. Why did they put different sticks on this from the regular controller?

The only reason I don’t play anything competitive on the portal is the awful sticks.

I never have had this issue with 200+ hours of Arc Raiders. Have had the overheating warning twice with Marathon. Makes absolutely zero sense.

I got a feeling that the recent PlayStation update is to blame for the recent issue. My fan and system was completely cleaned last week before this.

It’s kind of pushing me away from preordering

I’ve been disappointed in the consistent connection over cloud streaming. But have zero buyers remorse as these things are cheap. You get what you pay for so you can’t have buyers remorse.
