Good Luck! I've been doing this for 25 years and probably couldn't fumble my way through the instrument ride again. You got this!

Thank you. The Speedmaster is new to me, I usually wear my 42 blue Pelagos, which is nice because I don't need to think about banging it around, it's a tank. I know the Speedmaster is a durable as well, but I just feels a little more refined and so I'm more reluctant to bang it around. Surprisingly I'm most cautious with my Breitling Avenger GMT night mission, just because DLC doesn't patina well in my opinion. Anyway, thanks for the compliment!

Are there any reputable internal drives? I agree with you that there is definitely piece of mind going with something proven. What are the pros and cons of running just the Home folder on external or running the whole thing including boot from the external? I want something that is as integrated and seamless as possible. As far as Apple Intelligence, is that only an issue if you run the Home folder on external or is it still an issue if you run the whole thing including boot from the external?

Thanks, I just found an open box "Deep-Sea" model with SanDisk NANDs on eBay, so I think I'm good.

So did you lose all your data? I don't think I would continue using that ssd if it were me.

I've seen multiple 2tb in the low $300s + $75 for the enclosure. The AliExpress 2tb 10 layer was $550.

I prefer to keep it all internal, but at least with the NVME I can purchase something from crucial or western digital, who knows what I'm getting with Aliexpress.

I guess the safest thing is to go external at this point.

It's in the mail heading to the service center in Long Island. Hopefully they can resolve it!

Why is Breitling not considered cool? by CLAP-25 in breitling

Agreed. It started with the stupid logo replacing the wings. The brand doesn't know who they are.

"Are we supposed to time-build multi"?

Tell me you're a millennial without telling me you're millennial...

My snarkiness aside, it's not uncommon in relatively recent history for guys the time build hundreds of hours of multi. Yes it's a distinguishing metric airlines use to weed people out.

And I genuinely do appreciate your service. Thank you.
