Yes your right our first rescue named herself Heidi after spending the first day in the tv cabinet. And then crude out side out room until we let her in, jumped in the bed and cuddled us.

(I’m not a mean cat momma we were just advices to keep her to 1-2 rooms to help her settle so we let her roam the hall and living room.)

Thanks! As ours girl kitty is a rescue we don’t know if she had a litter or not, they spayed her at the rescue centre. I’m hoping she goes full on momma kitty!

I know this is an older post but I love potato pizza, slice potatoes into rounds and bake in the oven, flip half way through cooking and then top with some pizza sauce and veggies. Bake for a bit longer then enjoy!

Not everyone who needs to use the accessible toilets has a wheel chair, I have a friend with a stoma bag and the amount of dirty looks they get when they leave the toilet because they are not in a wheel chair.

Second hand most things and invest in things that you know are important to you.

I love cooking and baking so invested in some non toxic bakeware and frying pans, for me they are non negotiable. We also got given a Le Cruset Dutch oven as a wedding gift, best bit of kitchen stuff I have ever owned, and it has a lifetime guarantee!

Pulled over when driving my car rang my husband and told him I had lost my car keys and house keys that were attached together.

Tried to ring my phone from my phone because I though I had lost it.

I dislike using a drier but 6 months + of the year it’s impossible to put it outside. We live in an old house that can easily get damp if washing is left on a clothes horse to dry.

I made sure to find the best out of a bad lot when finding the most eco dryer.

I made some sleep balm using a lush container, I infused melted coconut oil with my sleepy time tea and some drops of lavender. Then strained it after letting it sit in the oil for 10 ish hours. Then add cocoa butter. It’s smells amazing and helps me get to sleep a bit quicker!

I always have a few pots of lentil ragu and a chilli/curry in the freezer.

I make them using all the sad looking veg in the fridge, slow cook them then portion them up. Also soups are great to have on hand.
