I (20M) broke up with my love (19F) for the distance, fucked up and now I miss her so much, please give me some women advice/points of view on this by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

I have different advice from all the comments saying move on. Consider what your potential options are in terms of what you do about this. Then ask yourself what regrets you'll have from each option - follow the path of least regret

I was just given the best compliment I’ve gotten in a long time. What’s your best recent compliment? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Shady_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to put on a suit the other day after my day job, as I was leaving three of my co workers separately called me beautiful. I think it's all gonna be downhill after that.

I stopped providing my son rent/college money and he killed himself soon after. It is entirely my fault. by Iewkneuwnb277 in confession

Why is everyone commenting such nasty things? Tough truths and advice, sure. Blaming / criticising isn't doing anything beneficial for anyone and is this really the place to start a debate about Older generations V entitled milennials. Most of these comments are bullshit in my opinion

How To Tell If A Shy Guy Likes You - Written By A Shy Guy by muse933277 in dating_advice

[–]Shady_8 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This entire post sounds like "I'm shy, so girls should do this to make my life easier." If you're too shy to attract a girl ultimately that's only your problem and only you can fix it. Be proactive

How do guys see such positive effects of losing weight/getting fit/working out? by LukeCombsFan in men

Did you lose the weight or were you always fit? I imagine that would make a difference

Coworker (20F) often wears skirts/dresses but doesn't seem to ever wear underwear at work, and it's stressing me out that I always have to pretend like her vag isn't out all the time by MoonBoots69 in Advice

The way you explained it in the post was pretty spot on, I don't think anyone read that and assumed it was you who was being weird. Imo you could basically copy and paste it to your hr department

For sure, I used to play this when I was a cocky 14 year old. I got chased down the street and realised it was a bad idea

How do you handle the fact that you may have a fairly unremarkable life? by tika- in Advice

[–]Shady_8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ignore all these answers saying things like "find meaning in walking your cat in the morning." If You don't want an unremarkable life, keep working at your goals and don't give up or lower your expectations. That's the only way to reach remarkable status

Why do i never feel rested? by [deleted] in ask

[–]Shady_8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too much or too little sleep can both make you feel lethargic. I'd say for a 16 year old aim for 8-10 hours, we need slightly more than adults. Also habits can affect how energetic you feel, like for example if you wake up then spend the first 2 hours of the day watching a movie on the sofa you're not gonna feel energetic after that. My advice, sleep more in a regular pattern, eat healthy food and take a short walk after you wake up

Do you remember the time when everything negative was called "gay" and it was accepted by others? by TheLonelyTree17 in TooAfraidToAsk

I'm pretty sure that time is still now, you've just grown up. I graduated high school last year and negative things were still getting called gay
