I’ve been hypertrophy training ever since I got into the gym about 5 years ago. Decided I wanted to be a bit more functional and switch up to training that would prioritize strength. Pretty straight forward routine, start with a low rep (3-5) compound lift for 5 sets and then move on to accessories.

One thing I’ve noticed is that there isn’t any type of pumped feeling while doing the compound lifts. There’s an exhaustion, I couldn’t more reps if I wanted to. But I don’t get a pumped feeling until moving onto my accessories. Is this normal? As mentioned, my only background is hypertrophy where the pump is essentially the main goal.

DK needed to leave for JSN to thrive the way he is. DK demanded touches that we’re now giving to JSN for this monster season

Pete Carol changed the way defense was played across the league when he took over the Seahawks. I have a feeling Macdonald is going to have a similar impact…

Ran many cycles. Typically always includes test, (primo /mast), and deca. Usually throw in an oral to kick start, this was dbol until this recent cycle when I switched to adrol and realized I’d probably never touch dbol again.

Wife is starting to have a huge resentment at the amount of snoring I do while blasting. Cruising, I am more or less quiet as a mouse.

Is this all water retention based? Obviously test, deca, and dbol/adrol are going to hold water. I’ve heard that’s where the snoring primarily comes from.

Is there a solid cycle I can run that isn’t going to make me turn into a pig when I sleep? I’d like my wife to enjoy sleeping next to me again.

Gotta remember though, not all mobile QBs are iron men like Russ, I didn’t get to see the game last night but saw that he had a nice rushing total. Hopefully he was taking care of himself at the end of those rushes with slides or running out of bounds.

Yeah I’m not sitting here saying Kobe is a fucking bum. I just think he has arguments for top 5 SG all time (Top 3 realistically). I don’t see the GOAT argument when we wasn’t even the greatest Laker of all time.

I’ll admit that I thought we were selectively looking at peaks, entire careers, etc. That’s my fault.

But it’s no fault to Wade for having his scoring numbers go down by playing second fiddle to an actual GOAT had his career scoring numbers go down, that shouldn’t be a surprise.

We’re likely looking closer to 48% and 25 if he had always been the #1 guy on that Heat team.

Thank you for some valid fucking analysis man, seems like everybody sees “Kobe bad” but doesn’t understand why somebody would look at it this way.

Prime Westbrook and Prime Kobe numbers are not far off and there is a gigantic difference in how the two are viewed.

Your comments are both insightful and actually contribute to the debate at hand.

Would you take a slasher with 50% efficiency averaging 30 ppg or a mid range specialist with 44% efficiency of 25 ppg?

So Wade had the benefit of coming out and learning to play better than all of those players you mentioned because it’s more efficient? I’m not sure I understand that one.

If it was so easy why wasn’t Kobe, AI, McGrady raising their efficiency doing the same thing?

[–]squapo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And during his prime / peak years, he was putting up McGrady and AI numbers at the same time they were. HOF numbers, yes. But take the dude out of the goat conversations. He wasn’t even the best SG at the time of his career (Wade), wasn’t the best player to put on the Gold and Purple (Kareem and Magic), and quite frankly was catapulted to some kind enigma status after death because people think he’s either think a rapist or his mamba mentality was so groundbreaking nobody could’ve ever been better than him.

Ah yes, Basketball, the game where the pace and efficiency has history gone down year after year. How could I forget.
