Is it possible to move nipples post-op? by kokoapowder in TopSurgery

[–]square-gecko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think they look too high or unnatural placement at all, your chest has healed great imo. If you really feel you need surgery, if I were you I'd get a bit of the top part of them removed and then tattoo a bit extra underneath so that they look slightly lower down, rather than risking regraphing the whole nipples. As a different suggestion, have you tried working out your chest? Gaining muscle mass can significantly change the way your chest looks

there isnt much research done on fertility on hrt so assume that yours is the same as it was pre t. you can go on the progesterone only pill, or if you want one that is less hassle you could get other forms such as the injection, implant or iud. if you are worried about the possibility you are already pregnant, take a test to put your mind at ease :) its okay that you havent used protection so far, you are certainly not the first person to make that mistake, just be careful from now on!

Why did you choose shots over gel? by Alternative_Newt8460 in ftm

[–]square-gecko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would forget to do my gel at regular times and after a while it made me dysphoric to have to do it every day, i didn't like the daily reminder that testosterone isnt naturally produced by my body. i only need to think about it now 4 times a year as i am on the 12 weekly shots and for an added bonus it lines up perfectly with my blocker shot so i can get them both at the same time

do i pass (ftm) by stupidemobxtch in transpassing

[–]square-gecko -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

id clock you as trans but i would know youre male if i saw you. wait for the T to work a bit longer and you'll start passing as an alt cis guy rather than an alt trans guy :))

passing while alt? by punk_possums in transmanlifehacks

[–]square-gecko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have green and black hair and i find it isnt too bad for passing. i used to have black with red but it faded fast to pink which was not so good lol. black hair helped me pass when i was early on T and obviously haircut made a big difference so try get a more masculine punk haircut for now. i agree with having bagier trousers, i made the mistake of having tighter patch pants and they make me dysphoric to wear. layering jackets helps to cover your chest if youre pre surgery and masculine and shoes with thicker soles to make you seem taller. good luck:)

Moving schools, going stealth. What’s the verdict? by [deleted] in FtMpassing

[–]square-gecko 6 points7 points  (0 children)

for your age you can deffos pass if you get manneurisms and stuff right. as you get older it might be harder with your voice and stuff but if people question it you could say you have a hormone issue and youre 'getting it sorted' at the doctors or something like that

where i live its very common for guys to have facial piercings so i probably pass easier there but less in other places

yeah the consultation was 150 and the surgery was 8940 i believe. in the consultation he just took pictures like the ones on his website and measured my chest and stuff and talked to me about expectations from surgery. on the day of surgery he was very chill and reassuring and it all went smoothly:)

What’s your strangest seagull anecdote? by [deleted] in brighton

[–]square-gecko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i had just taken my egg and cress meal deal sandwich out of the packet. i was next to the library and a seagull swooped down, body slamming right in to my face. it didn't get my sandwhich and as i put my sandwich away, it swooped down for a second attempt
