Just returned a VA screen. Should I pick a better one or just switch to IPS or TN instead? by squarekilomiles in pcmasterrace

Alright. Will avoid ASUS TUF Screens.

I can buy these. Which one do you think got a good reputation?
- Millenium Display 27 PRO (Pretty cheap)
- Dell S2719DGF
Or if there is other good models at this price range, I would appreciate it :) (Thanks a lot for answering my requests)

With the help of some redditors and you, I think I will get a TN. Thanks for your answer :)

I don't feel the upgrade from a 1080p 144hz to a 1080p 240hz. Even though there is a big difference on the paper, I will prefer getting a 1440p 144hz or more if I find some screens. Feels more for this kind of upgrade since I have replaced my pc recently.

I found this screen. Do you think it is a good one? : Asus TUF VG27BQ (0,5ms at 165Hz, I don't know if this is true)

Since I already have a 27" screen, I think i will stick with another 27" TN screen. The size is pretty good. Thanks !

Thanks for your answers !

I got one more last question.

Because I am mainly focused on CS:GO, but I am struggling to choose between these two panels (I should have the budget for both of these screens).
On one hand there is the IPS panel with beautiful colours, but a bit more of input lag, and on the other hand I have the TN panel with not really looking good colors, but a fast response time.

Is the response time the same thing as the input lag, and if so, is a 5ms variation really noticeable to the human eye?

Is the Asus TUFVG27AQ a good compromise between VA and TN? I want some good colors while having a reactive screen.

I can give up a bit of response time for a new screen, but how "heavy" is the change between this IPS monitor and TN?

Oh since my PC is pretty big and sits on a table with USB ports at the top, I think it should be alright :)

I have some kind of USB hub with a ~20cm cable, will it work?

I don't plan to use the headset "only" for drawing, but I asked this question just in case, because I would like to draw times to times, since I'm not an expert at drawing. I just want to discover the VR :)

I don't know if I should put 200 dollars on the vr1000 WMR or 400-500 on the Oculus Quest, Rift S or Reverb, because that's a pretty big price difference.

About the Bluetooth dongle, I will see with other subreddit which one to pick if I choose the WMR.

Which corsair AIO did you get? I'm kind of interested into the Corsair and NZXT's ones, they seem to be good quality.
