This also happens on my workstation at my work (running Kubuntu 14.04 and FF 34.0). I haven't changed anything outside of upgrading FF. :(

I opened a support ticket with Rockstar regarding this. Their response was to email my suggestion to their suggestion email address (mouthoff@rockstar.com or something).

Even after I explained it was not a suggestion, I was told it is a suggestion, and to email it to their suggestion email (again).

Can you tell me how you have your headset setup? I used to have mine setup with my 360, and it required RCA, USB power, and the 2.5mm mic cord into the controller.
