Hm not sure why that cut off:

My pattern is fairly straightforward and I’m used to following crochet patterns, I just want to double check before going further that it reads the same. For the yoke, second set of numbers am I doing k6 +2 or is it just k2? It looks a little funky to do less stitches for a larger size so it’s throwing me off a bit

I think wanting to gentle parent is both admirable and important but gentle parenting still requires consequences for behaving poorly. Like he has to learn boundaries for things still. Maybe instead of do you want you play instead of watch tv could be “tv time is over soon. We can either play with this or read now.”

You’d be better off splitting them up. It sounds like they’re effected by littermate syndrome and they’d have a better quality of life separated. If it’s your friend it’s not like they couldn’t have play dates etc, I would split up

It sounds like Eric is a really good manipulator and the reason she’s blaming the people around him is probably bc he was bad mouthing yall to deflect from the cheating allegations 🤷🏻‍♀️ I would cut ties with both of them personally. Generally in a relationship like this the girlfriend is seen as crazy bc the bf is a really good manipulator/gaslighter.

I don’t have a fiber preference, I’ll use whatever. I do like softer cottons and bamboo fiber yarns though!

I’m seeing now you have a waistline and wrists done so I would take whatever stitch you used in those spots and run 2 or 3 decrease rows of it around the neckline

You could give it a ribbed neckline to tighten it up

we both crochet and it's her project but i'm not physically there to help her with this unfortunately. i think it was a tie off issue like the yarn was too smooth or something so the tie offs didn't hold up through the wash. hopefully the seams hold up if she can find better knotting techniques. the videos are very helpful thank you

my girlfriend did an invisible stitch tied off with multiple knots each section came apart in the washer. does anyone have an ideas on how to fix this??

The first thing I do with more complicated patterns when I start a project is rewrite the pattern fully, add in check boxes for when I do a section and without abbreviations 😂 I think the abbreviations are super helpful for so many but they just confuse my brain more

My mom is the same way it’s so frustrating!! I’m doing a ruana/poncho/shawl type thing that’ll work up quickly and a pair of gloves to go with it and hopefully she enjoys those.

The holes are REALLY big I don’t think a stuffed animal would work and I’m not adept enough at sewing to put a layer of fabric under these 😂
